Privacy Policy

What we ask for, why we ask for it, and what never leaves your device.

Draft policy — owner approval required. This describes how the website currently behaves. It has not been reviewed by a lawyer and the bakery's own record-keeping practices need to be confirmed and added before launch.

The short version

This website has no accounts, no payment processing and no order database. Your cart and your PIN code are stored in your own browser. Your order details reach the bakery only when you send them yourself on WhatsApp.

What we ask you for

At checkout, the website asks for the information needed to bake and deliver a cake:

  • Your name
  • Your mobile number
  • Your email address — optional
  • Your delivery address, landmark, city, state and PIN code
  • Your preferred delivery date and time slot
  • Any delivery or cake instructions you choose to give

We do not ask for your date of birth, your gender, your age, or any payment details. The website never asks for card, UPI or bank information.

Where that information goes

It is assembled into a WhatsApp message that is pre-filled for you. Nothing is transmitted anywhere until you press send in WhatsApp. If you close the page without sending, your details go no further than your own browser.

Once you do send it, your message is delivered through WhatsApp and is subject to WhatsApp's own privacy terms, and is then held by the bakery in its WhatsApp chat history.

What is stored on your device

The website uses your browser's local storage to remember two things between visits:

  • the contents of your cart, so it survives a page refresh;
  • the delivery PIN code you checked, so you do not have to type it again at checkout.

This stays on your device, is not sent to us, and is not shared with anyone. Clearing your browser data removes it.

Reference images

If you attach a reference picture in the custom cake builder, it is previewed in your browser only. There is no upload service connected to this website, so the file is never sent anywhere. That is why the builder asks you to send your picture in the WhatsApp chat instead.

Cookies and analytics

The website sets no tracking cookies and, as configured, runs no analytics or advertising scripts. If this changes, this page must be updated before those tools are added.

Keeping your information

The bakery keeps your order messages in WhatsApp for as long as it needs them to fulfil and account for your order. The bakery's own retention practices should be confirmed and described here before launch.

Your choices

You can ask the bakery what information it holds about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted, by messaging +91 93211 40135 on WhatsApp.

Children

This website is intended for adults placing orders. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes to this policy

If how the website handles your information changes, this page will be updated to match.
