Cancellation & Refund Policy

Changing an order, cancelling one, and what happens if something isn't right.

Draft policy — owner approval required. Cancellation windows, refund amounts and timelines have not been set by the bakery. The notice periods and percentages that a final policy needs must be supplied by the owner. Nothing here is a legal guarantee.

How orders are confirmed

Placing an order on this website means sending your details to Sujit's Feast & Treat on WhatsApp. An order is only confirmed once the bakery replies to accept it. Until then there is nothing to cancel, and no payment has been taken.

Changing your order

Message the bakery on WhatsApp as early as you can. Whether a change is possible depends on how far along your cake is:

Before baking begins — most changes to flavour, size, design or inscription can usually be accommodated.
Once baking or decorating has started — changes may not be possible, and may affect the price.
On the delivery day — changes are generally not possible.

Custom, tiered and hand-painted cakes are started earlier than cakes from the ready-made collection, so the window for changes is shorter.

Cancelling your order

To cancel, message the bakery on WhatsApp at +91 93211 40135. Because every cake is made to order for a specific date, cancellation terms depend on how much notice you give and how much work has already gone into the cake. The bakery will tell you where you stand when you get in touch.

Refunds

Payment is arranged directly with the bakery rather than through this website, so refunds are handled the same way — directly between you and the bakery, using whichever method was used to pay.

Where a refund is agreed, the bakery will confirm the amount and timing with you on WhatsApp.

If something is wrong with your cake

Tell the bakery as soon as possible — ideally on the day of delivery — and send photographs on WhatsApp. The bakery will look into it and agree with you what should happen next.

Please note that hand-decorated cakes vary slightly from reference photographs. Small differences in shade, piping and placement are part of handmade work rather than a fault.

Circumstances outside our control

Very occasionally an order cannot be fulfilled because of something outside the bakery's control. If that happens, the bakery will contact you as early as possible to agree an alternative or a refund.
